Bluewater Bay lifeguards save five using Jet Ski

THE Bluewater Bay Surf Lifesaving Club saved five people at the weekend in two different incidents.
In the first incident a man in his thirties was saved after he tried to swim into the Swartkops River to get a ball on Saturday at about 5pm.
The club’s chairman Dave Bamber said the strong current pulled the man deeper into the river and lifeguards from the club swam out to save him.
“The man needed to be hospitalised after the incident but his life was saved,” said Bamber.
