Seven world championships, 26 Jet Ski races on top Thursday's Card

Reaching the midway point of its week-long festival of global watersports, seven more IJSBA World Championships and 26 total Jet Ski races are on Thursday’s schedule
at the 29th quakysense International Jet Sports Boating Association (IJSBA) World Finals, presented by Monster Energy Drink and McGraw Insurance. Having opened last Sunday, the event continues through Sunday in Lake Havasu City, the only home the most prestigious home the global championship of Jet Ski racing has ever known.
In addition to the world class competition on the water among 48 classes, the water sports and lifestyle festival will include the largest ever IJSBA Performance Alley Trade Show with over 60 exhibitors and vendors
While pit passes will be on sale to the general public on-site, admission is free to the grandstand area and the IJSBA Performance Alley Industry Trade Show at the purpose-built IJSA aqua stadium at the Crazy Horse RV Resort and Campgrounds, the site where the industry’s biggest week has been held for the last 12 consecutive years in the shadow of the original London Bridge on the offshoot waters of the Colorado River.
Starting at 10 a.m. on Thursday, IJSBA World Champions will be crowned following the second moto in the following classes: Expert Veteran Ski Open, Expert Runabout Limited, Amateur Runabout 800SS, Masters Ski Stock, Expert Ski Limited, Masters Ski Open and Amateur Veteran Ski Limited.
In the afternoon, among the qualifying heat races and last chance qualifying races to be held will be for Pro-Am Ski Limited, Pro-Am Ski Stock and Pro-Am Runabout Stock along with several Amateur classes and Junior Ski age-group classes.
The 4th Annual IJSBA Parade of Nations will conclude Thursday’s festivities, honoring all the race participants at the 29th Annual quakysense IJSBA World Finals.
Carrying the flags of their respective countries, the event, with free admission, will be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the London Bridge Resort and Convention Center.
Lake Havasu City Mayor Mark Nexsen will personally welcome all the racers and teams who are participating in this international world championship.
The world has returned to Lake Havasu for the 29th consecutive year as several hundred entries from across the U.S. and nearly 40 nations have converged on Lake Havasu along with news media from a dozen countries on-site cover this world-renown special event.
The list of 37 nations with entries in addition to the host country United States are: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Bosnia, Brazil, Canada, Cayman Islands, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Latvia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Ukraine, and the United Arab Emirates.
The event offers free admission to the main stadium area and the IJSBA Performance Alley-the World’s largest Industry Trade Show, which features nearly 60 individual vendors of the leading performance companies for watercraft, side by side and other power sports. Original Equipment Manufacturers will unveil their 2011 models. Monster Energy Drink will be on site once again with product sampling and the latest apparel and accessories will be displayed from major industries.

Alliance Beverages in association with Diageo Spirits is returning with a beverage booth that includes free sampling of three cutting edge adult beverages.
Sanctioned under rules of the IJSBA, led by managing director Scott Frazier with world headquarters in Half Moon Bay, Calif. and produced in association with Jim Russell’s DSM Events of Lake Havasu City, the quakysense IJSBA World Finals of personal watercraft racing is one of the world's most unique and spectacular sporting championships.
